Required Documents:

To register a company in Guangzhou, you must first have an office space. The office space needs to undergo lease contract registration procedures with the local street office. Usually, this registration process can be completed within 3 working days.

Identification Documents

  1. If the shareholder is Chinese:

    • Identification documents of shareholders: Chinese citizens provide their ID cards.

    • Identification documents of legal representatives, directors, and supervisors: Chinese citizens provide their ID cards. With these two sets of documents, you can start the business registration process, which typically takes about 3-5 days to complete (Chinese citizens can register a company in as quickly as 1 day). After the registration with the Industry and Commerce Bureau is completed, you need to open a company bank account. It takes about 3-5 working days to open a bank account, and after the bank account is opened, you can formally start your business activities.

  1. If the shareholder is a legal entity:

    • Identification documents of shareholders: If shareholders are legal entities (i.e., companies), the business registration certificate needs to be notarized by the Chinese embassy. If shareholders are natural persons, their passports need to be notarized by the Chinese embassy.

    • Identification documents of legal representatives, directors, and supervisors: Chinese citizens provide their ID cards, while foreigners provide their passports, which are notarized by the Chinese embassy.

With the above documents, you can start the business registration process, which typically takes about 3-5 days to complete. After the registration with the Industry and Commerce Bureau is completed, you need to open a company bank account. It takes about 3-5 working days to open a bank account, and after the bank account is opened, you can formally start your business activities.

After completing the above tasks, you need to file tax declarations every month and undergo annual inspections every year.
